Thanks KJ. Like Nicole said in her opening statement, I won't drag this out. I do want to thank KJ and the Mystery Co-Host for this game. It was a lot of fun, and I enjoyed every minute of it. I love alias games and can't wait to find out who all of the players were/are.
That being said, I gave 110% in this game from the very first challenge to the last. I may not have done great in challenges but when we were Drake, I held my own and did my best to keep our tribe strong. Everyone knows how the votes went down so I won't go into detail (if anyone has any questions, please post it and I will gladly answer). I was loyal to the people I had aligned with, Michelle and Burton. Usually being loyal to a fault is my downfall unless or until I hear that my alliance is doing something that makes me second guess that they aren't on the up and up. Which is what happened and at the same time, I had started up a friendship with Nicole. Even at that point I was hesitant, but some things that came out made complete sense and I had to go with my gut. I'm glad I did. I didn't try to blindside anyone, although I knew Michelle was an extremely strong player and naturally I had in the back of my mind that if she stayed in the game she would have gone all the way.
Michelle quitting the game and giving Nicole that idol only confirmed my doubts about hers and Burton's loyalty to our alliance. I'm not complaining, it's part of the game and kudos to them for trying to make that move.
I suck at these opening statements, so like I said above, throw your questions at me and I'll definitely answer. I enjoyed playing with each and every one of you and getting to know everyone. Unfortunately there were some I didn't get to play with, maybe next time.
Lastly, as I stated above, I played my heart out strategically as well as socially. It's in your hands now and hopefully you think I played a strong enough game to give your vote to me.
Thanks, Trish And can't forget.....good luck Nicole Great game girl!
Hey Shawn Thanks. As to specifically how I used people, well I didn't really "use" anyone in a bad sense. I played the game with my tribe as a team player and once we merged continued playing with my alliance. I befriended some of the Morgan tribe, those who would reply to my "hello". To tell the truth, I was pretty much an open book and shared quite a bit of information with the people I trusted. I did my best in challenges and think I played a pretty up front game. Towards the end when I became the target I had help from the people I trusted to try and take out the ones who were targeting me. So again, with the help of trusted allies we sort of turned the tables. I would call it working together, and not me using anyone in particular or anyone using me. Hope that makes sense. My best move was probably being sociable or attempting to be once we merged. I think trusting the right people at the end was a big plus as well. Not being overly aggressive and playing many different sides and sticking with my alliance, is to me a big move since it showed my loyalty. That to me is very important in this type of game.
Hiya Trish, first off I want to say congratulations for making it this far you should be proud of yourself just for that. Secondly...I was voted out rather early due to inactivity so I kind of want you to tell me a few things. I'd like to know in what way did you play a better game than Nicole and why you deserve to win over her. I'd also like to know who you were the most loyal to and why. I'd also like to know who you feel played the best game that's not in the F2. I apologize if that's a lot I just want some information and get a feel for your game play and personality since I didn't really get to chat with you during the game.
Hi Lillian, thanks . Unfortunately there were a few people that I didn’t get to know in this game. As for your questions, I’ll start with the first.
I can’t say I played a better game than Nicole. Not being able to chat with the other tribe, I didn’t get to know Nicole until the merge. I can say that I was active the entire game and participated in every challenge and gave 110%. I believe we each played our games to the best of our abilities or else we wouldn’t be here.
Why do I deserve to win over her? I proved myself in challenges, was a team player and loyal. I didn’t have to resort to lying and backstabbing which to me is important. That’s not saying she did any of that, that’s just my reason.
I was most loyal to my initial alliance, Shawn, Michelle and Burton. We all hit it off pretty much from Day 1. We worked well together and were the most active throughout the game. We wanted to win. After the merge though, communications started to trickle to pretty much nothing. That sent up a red flag and I conveyed my concerns to Shawn. I began chatting with Nicole, and things started to make sense. My two allies from the beginning of the game were plotting against me. So my loyalty was to Shawn (as always), Nicole and Andrew.
Who do I think played the best game? Michelle without a doubt! She was a beast at challenges.
Ok, Trish congrats on making it here but I am courious if you even counted me as an ally were you just using me? What about that alliance that you me and Michelle had why did you save Burton insted of me? I am suprized that in our 7 pages of talking the only nice thing you can find to say about me was I was active instead of the old one , I sent two sentences to Nicole and she something I wouldnt expect in 1,000,000 yearrs and you continue to talk about that damn picture challenge, why is that? Also, on the night I was voted out what was your vote? Finally why did you do strategically in the game that should give you the win?
Ok, Trish congrats on making it here but I am courious if you even counted me as an ally were you just using me? I'll answer this way so it's easier to respond. Thank you Sandra, and well, when you first replaced the original Sandra, not having any idea who you were actually talking to, I had to play it safe. Yes we chatted, and no you weren't used. By any means. What my concern was, you were talking about alliance with Jonny and Rupert, then you mentioned all girl alliance, then you were against Shawn, but then with him. So I was a bit leery because you seemed to be all over the place and after the Jonny vote I was like, cool, she really isn't with him. So yes, at that time I did consider you an ally. What about that alliance that you me and Michelle had why did you save Burton insted of me? Yes, we agreed to a girl alliance, but I had been talking as well to Burton since day 1. Things change, and depending on how majority is thinking of voting, when we are still Drake, I didn't want a target on my back. Especially if the numbers weren't there. I am suprized that in our 7 pages of talking the only nice thing you can find to say about me was I was active instead of the old one , I'm sorry, but like I said in opening statement, I wasn't going on and on in there or Rites of Passage, if anyone had questions, I would be more than happy to answer. I enjoyed the chats we had, and your personality brought a lot to the tribe. Like I said above, I just wasn't so sure which way you were going to go as far as tribes if we merged, and unfortunately the initial alliance was set up prior to you replacing the other Sandra, and that seemed to be the biggest hurdle for me, and I didn't want to start scheming and plotting against my alliance at that point. I sent two sentences to Nicole and she something I wouldnt expect in 1,000,000 yearrs and you continue to talk about that damn picture challenge, why is that? That picture challenge is what clinched it for me (the voting for you), you said you didn't want to be bothered. Well, I'm sorry but we were still a tribe and it was so close with Morgan, and we didn't want to have to go down in numbers. It was important to keep our tribe strong, and if we had someone who didn't want to bother, well, who knew if they would flip when we did merge, etc. Sorry bout that but that was a key challenge. Also, on the night I was voted out what was your vote? Yes, I voted for you. Finally why did you do strategically in the game that should give you the win? Strategically? Well I didn't backstab and plan on blindsiding my alliance by plotting and scheming with the other tribe, so I guess you can say I played a straight up game, and got myself to the end. Was that "strategic" it could be considered that, especially in the game of Survivor.
Congrats on making it to F2! My question is this. Among the jury members, name 2 people that you think most deserve to be in the F2 and also 2 people that do not even deserve to be in the jury (in other words they should have been voted out way earlier than that). You need to name 4 different members of the jury and give a simple reason why. Thanks and good luck.
Hey Burton, thank you. Ok, that's a tough one. Since I can't say how Lillian or Ryan O. played the game because I basically had no communication with either of them, I would have to say they should be the two not on the jury. No offense to either of them, but I know nothing of their game play.
As for the two people who deserve to be here, I have to say Shawn and Andrew. Reason I pick those two, I followed the amount of posts, and also saw who was online and active, not just during challenges but also during the off time. Both were playing to win. That's not to say any of the others weren't. I was in that save and bury (or whatever the live challenge was) and posting every 5 minutes with Andrew, so I know he was in it to win it. As far as Shawn, he played hard and strategically.
Trish - I have to say if I couldn't be in the final two I'm glad you are because in that horrible posting challenge you actually got my humour and you rolled with it. I didn't get to see a lot of your early game but what I saw of the end game I liked .. a lot.
Tell me - in one reason - why you deserve this over Nicole.
Hey Andrew, thanks and right back at you. The bantering between yourself, Osten and I and then Nicole in that challenge made it bearable! One reason huh? I have trouble with this type of question, but I will pat myself on the back this one time, I had loyal allies, at the end. I also had a strong tribe to work with and we worked well to make it to the merge. I did have to socialize and strategize throughout the game to keep myself safe. No one is ever safe even with powers and idols. Sure they help, but finding the right blend of people and making adjustments throughout the game is crucial as well. I pllayed hard this whole game, with the ultimate goal being to win. Thanks
